The Florence Vanderbeck Cup Invitational was contested yesterday, August 4, at Philadelphia Country Club. In the gross division, three players tied for top honors with 79. In the end, Catherine Elliott (Merion) defeated Samantha Perrotta (Old York Country Club) in a playoff. Laura Hammond (Penn Oaks) finished third. Angie Coleman (Deerfield) finished 4th with 81. In the net division, Laura Rainsford (Whitford) won with a net 71. Ellen Miller (Gulph Mills) finished second with 73.
