The Symetra Tour will be returning to Montgomery County in 2019! The Valley Forge Invitational will be in its second year at Raven’s Claw Golf Club from May 27-June 2. WGAP is happy to announce we will once again be the gate sponsor for this great event. This sponsorship provides free entrance to all who wish to watch these amazing golfers.
WGAP feels that this is an important event to support. Last year, some of our former and present WGAP members competed. Isabella DiLisio (Indian Valley) competed as an amateur and finished tied for 34th shooting an impressive 3-under for the 3 rounds. Emily Gimpel (Whitemarsh Valley) plays on the Symetra Tour. She was the “ambassador” for the event last year.
This is such a great opportunity for our juniors to get out and see some of the best female golfers in the country up close and personal. These women are fighting for a spot on the LPGA Tour and the quality of golf is amazing.
WGAP will once again have a raffle opportunity for our WGAP members to win tickets to the Meet the Pros party, play in the Pro-Am, and have VIP tickets to the tournament. More information will be coming on that.
