The Sunnybrook team of Leslie Lane, Lisa McGill, Maisie Barlow, Wendy Kennedy and Nina Talbot finished 5 shots clear of the next closest team (Aronimink) to win the Ellen Gowen Hood Shield Invitational at Philadelphia Cricket Club on October 18. Karen Siegel (Commonwealth National) won low gross with 74, and Christy Traenkle (Old York Road) won low net with 70.
