On a blustery May day, 52 pairs took on the immense challenge of conquering Merion’s East Course. The course itself is challenging enough on a calm day, but with steady 15-20 mph winds, it was that much more difficult. In the end, two teams finished atop the leaderboard with 5-over 79s. Honeybrook’s Allison Long and Barbora Millichip and Wilmington’s Nicoll Keeney and Lori VanSickle. The match of cards gave the win to Long and Millichip, with an impressive back-nine score.
