Congratulations to our 5 Player of the Year Award winners.  There are some familiar faces on this list, with some new recipients as well.

Class A - Samantha Perrotta (Philmont) continued her steady and talented play this year.  Sam won 5 tournaments this year including:  Dorothy Campbell Howe Trophy, Gold Key, Nancy Wilbur, Overbrook Invitational, and the Dorothy Porter.  She was the runner-up in the Women's Match Play Championship and finished second in the Mary Thayer Farnum Cup.  She beat the runner-up in the points race, Karen Siegel (Commonwealth) by 200 points.  The two had a close race all season.  This is Samantha's fifth time winning the award.

Class B - Aimee Ruhl (Indian Valley) is a new name on the leaderboard.  She played solid golf at the 1st and 2nd Stroke Play tournaments, finishing second in the 1st Stroke Play at The 1912 Club.  While the 2nd Stroke Play score was a little higher, Aimee had a comfortable enough lead to claim the Class B Championship.  Finishing second in the points this year was Sue Meckling (Jericho), who was only 5 points behind Aimee.

Class C - Katie Alexander (Moorestown) had a great year of golf.  She shocked herself with a career round at the 1st Stroke Play to walk away with low gross honors.  The lead was enough to capture the Class C Championship after the 2nd Stroke Play.  With a win at the Senior Championship for Class C players and a 4th place finish at the Class C Better Ball of Partners, Katie finished 80 points ahead of runner-up Connie Tolton (Sandy Run) in the rankings.

Class D - Susan Keyser (DuPont) dominated the Stroke Plays this year.  She won both the 1st Stroke Play by a match of cards, and finished 10 shots ahead of the 2nd place player at the 2nd Stroke Play.  The solidified the win of the Class D Championship for Keyser.  She also earned points for finishing 4th in the Senior D Championship.  Keyser's points put her 125 ahead of Anne Cantwell (Moorestown).

Junior - Ava O'Sullivan (Whitford) won our Junior Player of the Year for a 2nd time.  The senior in high school (heading to play golf at High Point University next fall) finished 4th in our Junior Girls' Championship this July.  She also won the Lady Junior with her partner and finished 3rd in the PA State Junior Girls' Championship.  Ava's 285 points had her 20 points ahead of high school teammate Stefania Fedun.
