Catherine Elliott (Merion) saved her best golf for last. Elliott closed with a final nine of 31 on her way to winning the Mary Thayer Farnum Cup by two shots over first-round leader Barbora Millichip (Honeybrook). Elliott also wins the Silver Cross due to the cancellation of the qualifying round in the Women’s Match Play. In the net division, Ruth Averback (Old York Road) played a sensational first round of 6-under, 66 (net) and followed it up with a net 77 to win by 1 shot over Anne Conway (Little Mill).
