This seems to be the year of successful defenses of titles!  And Casey Oppenheimer, of Whitemarsh Valley Country Club, kept up the trend.  Oppenheimer was medalist in qualifying with an impressive 74 at West Chester Golf and Country Club.  She got through a tough first match, where she beat Ava O’Sullivan (Whitford) in 19 holes.  In that match, Casey had her first ever hole-in-one!  She then went on to beat Liddie McCook 3 and 2 in the semi-finals.  Her final match was against Lauren Jones (Merion) who had won her first two matches in decisive fashion.  The finals were decided on the 16th hole,  where Casey won 3 and 2.

In our junior junior division, Curstan Bunch (Applecross) won the 3 round stroke play competition, carding rounds of 53, 49, 52 to win by 10 over Audrey Reese (Commonwealth National.
