Board of Directors MVP #2 – Theresa Grentz

MVP #2 for WGAP – our Vice President Theresa Grentz

Theresa Shank Grentz joined WGAP Executive Committee in
2019. She currently serves as Vice President of the Association.
She also serves as Chairwoman of the Marketing Committee
and is a member of the Finance Committee. Theresa is a
member of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame and served as
the US Olympic Head Coach in 1992. She was announced as a
member of the Class of 2022, of the Naismith Memorial
Basketball Hall of Fame. Over the course of thirty-five years,
she worked as the head women’s basketball coach for Lafayette
College, the University of Illinois, Rutgers University, and St.
Joseph’s University. She got her start playing for the
Immaculata Mighty Macs, and led the team to three AIAW
National Championships between 1972 and 1974. These events
were made into a movie, The Mighty Macs, which was released
in 2011. Throughout her coaching career, she has shown a
knack for motivational speaking, and has given over one
thousand speeches to various groups—from kindergarten
classes, to Fortune 500 companies. Theresa enjoys her love for
the game of golf at Hershey’s Mill Golf Club.
