The Ida E. Dixon Cup is held annually at The Springhaven Club.  Named after one of the first women golf course architects, the trophy has been residing in the USGA Museum in Far Hills, NJ for the past two years, as Ida Dixon is being honored as a pioneer for women in the industry.

The winners are net, with one gross prize given.  Ruth Averback (Old York Road) shot an impressive 78 and with her 11 handicap, won low net with a 67 by one shot.  Finishing second in a match of cards with Jane Vincent (DuPont), carding an 82-14=68.  Karen Siegel (Commonwealth) had the round of the day with a 4 under 68 (including a 5 under 31 on the front nine).  With the prize order, Karen won 3rd low net (68-0=68).  Low gross was awarded next and went to Avi Snyder (French Creek), who shot 74.  There was a log jam at 72 net, resulting in a match of cards for 4th low net.  Judy Owens (Waynesborough) was victorious with a 84-12=72.
