Adele's family would like to invite all who knew and loved Adele to a Celebration of Life on October 5, 2018 at Spring Ford Country Club from 5-7pm.

Here is a copy of Adele's obituary:

Adele L. Lebow, 95, accomplished golfer

Adele Lebow, 95, of Royersford, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Columbia Cottage in Collegeville, PA.

She was the wife of the late Charles (Chick) Lebow. Born near Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sylvia Levin.  Adele graduated from Lower Paxton High and later, Penn State College where she met Chick.  They were married for 62 years and shared a wonderful life together.

Chick and Adele moved to Royersford in 1949 to open Lebow Furniture Co, which served the community for over 64 years. In 2002 they built the Royersford Chestnut Street children’s playground in appreciation of the many years of happiness and good fortune they enjoyed in the borough.

Adele was an accomplished golfer, friend, and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Spring-Ford C. C. since 1953 and a 10-time club champion.  She was actively involved with the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia; she began on the Nominating Committee and worked her way through the ranks until she served as President in 1976 and 1977.  In 1983, Adele was called on to chair the Association’s Course Rating Committee.  In 1990 and 1991 she served as President of the Pennsylvania Women’s Golf Association.  In February 2004 she was chosen as the first woman to receive the USGA Joe Dey award, a national award given in recognition of meritorious service to the game of golf as a volunteer.

Surviving are two sons, Jack, husband of Elyse (Pacioni) Lebow, and Roger, husband of Patricia (Plotts) Lebow, both of Royersford, two grandchildren, Michael Lebow and Susan Moran and great granddaughter, Molly Moran.
